This is roughly the same time I ordered as well. Unclear how a company stays afloat without actually shipping product. But I eagerly await, and like OP want to learn more to interact with the community regarding the tech, privacy, etc.

I ordered My Brax 3 in early January, But I have no idea when it will be arriving or shipped. It would be fantastic to get some kind of update

I donāt know enough about cyber security to say there is no such thing as privacy. But if and when I do, and I think there is no such thing as privacy, Iāll work on reducing my exposure, so I will give out the least amount of information.

Wait, are you saying that you arenāt sure if any device (like the Brax3) can provide security so your approach is going to be to try and limit the info you DO provide?
the discussion goes back to what we said that internet and technology have been built by the states and the secret agencies and thus you should never assume that you are doing something with privacy, moreover itās good to have an ordinary user profile so that you donāt draw the attention, privacy is basically not being associated with some identity, for example watching Youtube without an account and through VPN
security is a different thing and it means the difficulty for someone to access your data on a device or some cloud service
Good morning. I wasnāt making a statement about Brax Comm, or any one place in particular. I am thinking that anytime a person uses their computer / phone, whether the device is safe fundamentally or not, or use of it will determine if we stay safe. Thus, if Brax has provided a safe website, we couldāve in loging in to our computer, brought malware. At my current level of education in cyber security I canāt be certain about the vast number of possibilities Iām exposing myself to. Just learning the possiblities & how to detect them, will be a great undertaking in itself. Then I would have to apply the prevention knowledge & tools accurately, or the device wonāt serve me or others I connect with. I suspect this is a never ending process of learning, applying the preventions, as we navigate from one technology / device / environment to the other? I want to be certain about whether Iām giving those whoāve made it their business to control me, any information & how much. I will then go about giving them as little information as possible to achieve what Iām trying to accomplish. Currently I have to rely on other knowledgable people to accomplish a sense of safety in my tech undertakings, as I learn Iāll, hopefully, be able to be more certain with my own knowledge of technological understanding as I use it. I guess I could go on endlessly about my uncertainties around tech, but even that is part of the learning process as I bring in more information & question where to place it considering its relationship with other tech information. I canāt seem to play youtube with VPN running and not signed in. This seems relatively new but I have been experiencing that consistently now. Iām using Firefox and DuckDuckGo browsers. Iām not happy with the situation. Any thoughts on a workaround?

I know that YouTube is problematic with VPNs though BraxVPN may be working as it has a relatively small userbase. I tested the Android Tor Browser and it works. If you have a dynamical IP address then it is mostly to avoid your ISP knowing what you are browsing.
I use iodƩ(Firefox) with the uBlockOrigin add-on, Brave and the PipePipe app for background reproduction and the YTDLnis app for downloading the videos or the audio from YouTube, Rumble, Bitchute and other websites.

Thanks for the advice George. Perhaps Iāll try your formula if / when I receive the Brax3 I ordered back in Dec 25? I would really like to learn so I can know if Iām part of the problem in giving information to those who are creating our Digital Prison, or if I can at least slow them down? Itās like a person protecting their house when would be thieves are breaking in. First we understand how they are Breaking In, then we setup security to thwart their attacks! Thanks again! Hey Flipcity, regarding youtube, If you are using Duckduckgo browser, It has its own media player called duckplayer. You may need to enable in the browser settings. You have to enter the Youtube link into the search bar. I use it from time to time and it works well. I also have pipepipe and freetube installed and both work very well. Those apps allow you to subscribe to channels and do searches etcā¦available in F-droid all work without a google account or any kind of sign in with my vpn [proton].
Like others here Iām waiting for the phone to have something to ask/talk about. Also havenāt received any email yet and weāre into April.
The 2nd batch orders towards the end of 2025 will be delivered in April. If youāre waiting for a device from the 1st batch itās some error with the order so youāll probably be lucky to get one of the 2nd batch devices, better screen and fast charging.
