Anyone been shipped a Brax3 phone recently?

I also got mine May12th and coming from Hong Kong .

Got mine yesterday in NZ. Just strugling with the internet connection, as we don’t use wifi at home, wired ethernet only, it seems not to be working on the Brax3 for some reason… is there any configuration that might be blocking it?

I got mine today. I might never put a SIM in it. Unless we get Ubuntu Touch….

Received mine today - shipped from Hong Kong to a Europe location.

It just arrived today May 22. Now the funstration begins

It finally showed up this morning!!! YAY!!!

Now Trying to figure out how to do this thing right. I’ve been on an Apple iphone with ATT since 2017. Importing the contact list, finding a VOIP app to set up VOIP numbers, and then it looks like T-mobile is the only option for my KYC number. I have no SIM for it.

So, looking at the info on my phone’s progress through the normally quick shipping system in the US- On Wed at 9pm it arrived at a regional hub approx 250 miles from my location.

On Thur at 1:28 am it departed that hub.

Typically, unless they are strapping packages onto turtles, I get things from that hub the day after they arrive there.

Is Brax using some janky carrier who’s drivers go on binges and vanish for days or….? I mean, has anyone seen this sort of thing with their item(s)?

Yes Valandur, mine was stuck sitting for a few days then I saw an oriental fella in a car dropping it off along with something else I ordered from Hong Kong. Janky kinda covers it.

Oh wonderful. My comfort level with this project continues to drop.

My October order with December delivery just arrived on Friday. Yeah, some are finally arriving. Though be it very slowly. Given this experience, I will NEVER do business with Brax ever again.

Hahaha true. Got mine a week ago, as I only use Ethernet at home I couldn’t do much with the brax3 as the ethernet is not working on that. I tried everyday, and today for some reason it worked ( the cable is live and working on PCs and other phones with no issues) for about 20min, then is gone again. It was time enough to update some apps, which made the keyboard disappear.

Phone arrived last week.

Update——————–

In tracking my phone, for some weird reason it left the local hub, like 25 miles north of me and was shipped to a post office 30 miles east?? I double checked the address on my Order page and it’s correct. So the only thing I can figure is they typed my address on the package label incorrectly? I hope that office can figure out how to get it to me. It’s so odd because everything seems to be taking a lot longer than normal since it reached the regional hub a week ago.

Just a lot of strangeness

I think you’ll get it Valandur. Mine was stuck somewhere for a bit but now that I got my sim installed I’ll have to say its a pretty nice phone and definitely worth the wait and slight anxiety. Sorry for freakin out on ya’ll a couple times. I even posted that “I think I’ve been scammed” but of course not. Thanks for all your time, effort, and info. I’ll be moving on to other areas of this forum for questions like how do I keep my new phone from being corellated with my old metadata.

Yes got mine about one week ago, bit of a learning curve but I think its going to be worth it

I agree that there is a learning curve and if this does what it is supposed to, we are getting it at a steal!!!

My phone finally arrived yesterday! I am setting it up now. We’ll see how easy that is, lol.

WOW! I’m shocked at how easy setup was once I figured out how the SIM card fit. On T-Mobile and all I had to do was plug the sim in and follow the directions on the screen and ‘Bob’s your uncle
