Brax3 not receiving texts

Phone worked great for about a month. Then people who had previously sent text to my phone started telling my they couldn’t text me. Then I’d get a text if they were replying to my text. Now they can’t send me a text or reply to my text.
I deregistered from Imessaging when I first got the phone. I try to deregister (Grok’s recommendation) from Google because it says some phones try to use RCS instead of plain SMS and that will force SMS. But when I go to the page to deregister I enter my email, tell it to send a confirmation code…which also never arrives.

This seems to be getting worse the longer I have/use this phone.

This may be a stretch, but did you make any changes to your sim settings? I recently had an issue where I was unable to send pics via text. Talk about frustrating. I couldn’t figure it out for weeks. Well it seems that I had mistakely changed the APN for the SIM that caused the issue. I’d recommend that you check you APN settings to make sure it is set for your carrier.
