I have reinstalled the Voip app and checked all the setting. the Voip.ms app does look like its dialing a contact number, but never connects; eventually timing out. Any Idea?
Could you confirm that the app was working on your BraX3 but then stopped working?
If so, did you notice the issue appearing after an OS update or voip.ms app update?
I can confirm, my Voip.ms app was working just before i installed Iode 7.7. After 7.7 install and Brax3 reboot, the Voip app would not even try to call a contact. I could see the contact but pressing the phone icon did nothing. Post remove/reinstall of Voip.ms, the phone seems to be trying to dial, but never connects and times out in a minute or two. The sound is different as well. Its like an alarm clock running out of steam; more like a quick ticking, not a normal phone ringing sound.
Do you mean notification sound from the voip.ms app, or all sounds on the device?
In regards to your issue, since voip is managing through the app, it is very unlikely that the issue is on OS end. Have you checked if any of your settings have been changed? Have you tried dialing with encryption off to see if it’s something related to it?
I have checked the settings, all match expected values. As far as encryption; i can’t find any reference to a setting for encryption in the Voip app. ps. if i cant solve this; tell me how i can reinstall an older version of Iode.
