It seems like most of the apps on the Aurora store will not download to the Brax3. Sometimes they will, but it’s a crap shoot as to whether they work on the phone or not. I downloaded Bitpay once, had a hard time getting it to work, and I ran into issues importing my wallet. Eventually I tried to delete the app then reload it and see if a fresh install could help smooth things out, BUT when I went to reload the app Aurora suddenly claimed that it wasn’t available for my phone even though it was a few hours prior. Luckily I got my banking app to work perfectly on my phone, but when I went to look at the specs and version of the app (and what tracker it may have) on Aurora a few days later it claimed that this very same app is unavailable for my phone and wouldn’t give me details.
What is this digital voodoo going on with Aurora? Is there a fix/work around? Is there a better store that we can use to look up and download apps outside of F-Droid that doesn’t track us (recommendations from personal experience are welcome)?
Hi @CapcasinBox
Try logging out completely or;
Change Spoofing Manager to a different device.
Settings > Spoof Manager > Change the Brax3 to a different device.
Logout and log back in. The apps should be available now.
You should, if you have the Aurora App installed.
Open the Aurora Store app
On the top right click on the settings (The little gear icon)
Go to Settings > Spoof Manager > Change the Brax3 to a different device.
Logout and log back in. The apps should be available now.
The “Spoof Manager” option isn’t there. Like non-existent.
Edit: NEVERMIND. I click on “settings” after opening in the settings menu. Got confused there.
Seems to work now, thank you.
