I just wanted to set up the seedvault login to my local WebDav service. During setting up, it showed me the certificate of the connection and I clicked the “do not trust” button
So, now I cannot setup this connection anymore, as it says “Certificate chain not trusted”!
Aarrrgh, has anyone a hint how to reset this?
I don’t know the answer but I wanted to just say, it shouldn’t be so difficult to back the phone up. Murena offers what is essentially a rebranded nextcloud service. I haven’t switched over to the Brax3 and iode because everything I want to do (which is very basic) seems to be a massive learning curve that I don’t have time to mess with.
Probably this concerns a potential app that manages your certificates but anyway search in those settings, maybe the certificate is in the trusted list but it’s switched off.
I was searching in these settings for the untrusted certificate but could not find it. Neither in the “User credentials” nor in the “Trusted” ones. And there is not section “Untrusted”
There is a setting “certificate management app”, but it is greyed out and says “none”.
And I do not want to “Clear credentials”, which would remove all certificates…
EDIT: after posting this, I checked again and found the solution: as I wanted to use a WebDav mount (with the app WebDav5) the not trusted credentials were stored in this app. And here I found the setting to reset the credentials. After resetting them, during the next mount the certificate was shown again and I could “trust” this certificate!
So everything is fine now
Cheers!
I don’t know what’s your WebDAV setup, if it’s something custom on another computer you’ll find the certificate in the server and you can load it to Android.
It´s a sync app for syncing your contacts, calendars and tasks.
I use it for the synchronizing with my iCloud contacts and calenders which works fine.
Jep, I definitely could, but at the moment I went the easy way. And as my whole family are using Apple devices, it sometimes is easier. right now I´m building my own cloud with a NAS (therefore I want to setup a backup solution for my the Brax3). Step by step I´m disconnecting more and more from the Apple Space
