My phone suddenly stopped being able to send pictures and I get an error code 4 .. I have had to get a replacement phone over an entirely different matter already. I’m sad to see this one mess up, but hoping there might be some help from tech support. I searched and could not find any articles relating to error code 4. - ?
I’ve found it will no longer send any text messages in a group chat. I can only text a single person at a time now.
It gives the same “error code 4’ for anything in group chats.
I just installed QUIK app for messages hoping it was just the fossify app failing, but I am still having the same trouble sending photos and general texts via group chats, so something within my settings is not right, please help 
You have probably checked this already (and it shouldn’t have changed, so it wouldn’t explain why you stopped being able to send group chat photos) but double check if you have settings for “send long messages as MMS” and “send group messages as MMS” or something similar in the QUIK app and make sure they are enabled. That was the only thing that had ever caused an issue for me.
Other than that - if you do a search on here for APN there is a thread that shows how to delete and reinstall the APN details. I “think” that has helped some people. I’ve never had to do that.

Sounds like an APN issue. Who is your provider?
Hi Lazarus, i have Puretalk, i have been using my brax phone since last year with them, it’s strange to me why it would suddenly be a problem. But I sent tech support an email that i did get a response from, I am now waiting to hear further for instructions. I will keep this post updated on their recommendations.
Did your phone start acting strange after an iode’ update? The default text messenger app that iode’ uses gives me similar problems but I never got that error code. Try using a different messenger program. I see u tried QUIK app which works for me. Somebody else here found this text message program to work well:
I have a Brax3 using AT&T that was doing just fine with the (green bubble) “Messages” app that I think came with the phone. Well, it suddenly stopped doing group texts and would not send or receive pics. A Brax member (I think it was Kristopher) suggested trying the “QKSMS” app and it works great so give that a try.
Sorry for the delayed response. Got tied up with a family emergency this past month and this issue got pushed to the wayside.. Anywho, it started having this issue the beginning of April, i tried out 2 different apps, the one you suggested here and the QKSMS and I have the same experience no matter what app I’m using. Lately it has even been having trouble sending longer texts or texts with emojis on top of not being able to send pictures or group chat texts. I’ve just been dealing with it past couple months now. I think I am going to have to do a factory reset and hope that works 
I have tried that app and another but I still have the same issues, thank you tho
I checked and noticed my iodéOS Updater is only operating on 6.3, and says my update is blocked from the 7.2 in Jan, could this have anything to do with my issues ?
