Dual boot is it better practice on separate disk

Hello everyone,

I find Brax YouTube channel about month ago, looking for ways to improve privacy and watch many videos.

Now I am ready to take action starting with moving to Linux.

For my individual requirements, I am a digital nomad, my work is on Online apps but also MS tools.

So I naturally thought to split my laptop to MS/Linux (work /life…)

Then I was looking for a laptop like my current (thinkpad carbon x1) and I find one (mine need to be replaced anyways)

But then the guy that I was giing to get the new laptop from recommended me Primeum laptop from Asus (expert book)

That weight only 900 gm, has 512/i7/ 16gb.

And has physical space for a separate disk.

Then I can have 512 for each…

I am wondering if it is better, naturally I love the carbon x1 but maybe because it is light weight and separate disk it can be better set up for my usecase?

Another question, it is currently has Win11, off course I want to install on the other disk the win10- I suppose this is not a problem?

Thank you all for your replies
