September 2026 is weeks away now!
I’m still not sure how Google could enforce this on AOSP users or app developers who do not depend on the play store. Any ideas?
P’raps the best thing G could do is drop AOSP into the abandonware bin
I am hoping they get Linux working on this so I can switch over as Google is always going to get worse and worse and never going to be trustworthy.
Linux no matter how much anyone tries to regulate it and force compliance, there is always going to be rogue 
versions that no one will be able to control.
I use Linux on the computer so already know and have what apps I need.
I’m right with ya-I too want Linux on a phone. Ubuntu Touch looks real nice on the 2025 BraX3 but it won’t make phone calls. The browser is pretty old as well and the available browsers in Ubuntu Touch aren’t that great. Delta Chat is available for Ubuntu Touch and still gets updated so you do have access to an encrypted decentralized messenger!.
