Help with text box

I am using the Texting app Brax3 came with.

  1. As I type the text message, it does NOT wrap, until I hit send. I cant view text to check it w/out scrolling back.

This is super annoying… I’m a tad dislexic, lol so my texts read like a head trauma patient w/a phone. I am a prolific typo sender now… :rofl::expressionless_face:

  1. Not a big deal but I also can’t emoji reply on a message received. ( Or… I just don’t see how too… :thinking:).

I appreciate ya reading and offering a suggestion for relief of my suffering.

( That is toung and cheek, for those of you waking up on a too serious side of the bed :wink:):victory_hand:t2:

I have similar issues when I send a text…I can’t see what I typed after a while without scrolling back up the page. Sometimes I will type the whole text into a notes app and then copy and paste it into a text window. This simple notes is pretty good:

Well atleast I’m not the only one doing that. I too do the paste thing. I’ll check out the app link u suggested. you"d think this would be fixable with a setting or something. :thinking:. thank you for reply! :sunrise_over_mountains:

Do you mean that the SMS messaging you’re typing doesn’t wrap like the example in attachment? The example is a screenshot from a BraX3’s SMS app running on iode OS version 7.7. Are you on the same version?

I wonder if they are not typing enough to see that it does wrap.

How I use it and I know everyone is different, sms is for very short type messages. 95% of my txt are probably less than 1 line or even 1-2 words or a smiley face. OK or a smiley face make up more than 1/2 :joy: of what I send.

Anything longer or meant to be private as this sms is not encrypted, goes thru Proton Mail or Signal.
