How can change the photo size?

I took a pic and tried to send it and when it took incredibly long I looked and it was 10 MB! How can I shrink the size?

Not sure on standard app, I downloaded Open Camera, has a lot more editing features.

Thanks. I was hoping that I was just not seeing the settings. We shouldnā€™t have to add all these apps because the ones that come with the phone lack basic features. I just want to take a photo from 10 MB to 1 MB. Iā€™ve already downloaded the Futo keyboad and voice input (which turns off way too fast). I guess if I canā€™t figure it out Iā€™ll download the app. Thanks Goosie!

In the FUTO voice input settings there is an auto stop feature you can turn off. Thereā€™s a lot more custom settings in open source apps, all part of the freedom to tinker.

What size are the photos in open camera? I ask because the native one take pics that are anywhere from 10 - 20 MB and size limits keep me from sharing them.

Whatever you set them to in the settings.

Some apps will auto resize the photo if you send in MMS but not all. So sometimes you just have to manually resize first.

I went into settings in the camera app and there is no way to resize the photos that I can see. Where are you finding it?

Well thatā€™s what Iā€™m looking for but I donā€™t even have a ā€œcamera resolutionā€ in camera settings.

Im using Open Camera - NOT the one that says ita specifically for iodĆ©OS (as that is out of date). I think the majority of people use this on the BraX3ā€¦

Thanks! I downloaded Open Camera, but I have no icon for it. How do I get an icon so I can launch it w/o having to go to Settings>Apps> All Apps?

Is it not showing in the drawer when you swipe up from the very bottom of the screen? Then you can just drag it to your main screen.

Yes it does. I did not know I could swipe up and see all the installed apps. Thank you for this education, and boy do I feel kinda stupid! LOL
