Any issues, 7.6 made wifi stop working on brax 3?

But still no spflash which is what I need to make this device useable. I see that there’s now an spflash available for 7.6 but it’s not compatible with the second Brax3 batch.

My WiFi is working in iodé 7.6 using a 2025 BraX3! Do u have this year’s BraX3? :thinking:

Same here on a 2025 Brax3, WIFI works fine

Can I please make a polite suggestion, and I don’t know where it would need to be pointed upstream, to label beta releases as such. The “iode’ 7.7” referenced by OP is recognised as a beta by my updater app, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to tell this from the version numbers on the BraxTech Download site

Not your problem friend :wink: if upstream aren’t labelling them properly. I noticed some confusion in other threads about earlier versions …

There is a labelling problem on the files now. They used to keep the beta files just on the iode’ server here:

It used to be that the finals then went on the BraX server but it looks like they are putting the betas there too.

Interesting how the Updater app can tell its Beta, but humans can’‘t. I used to beta test back in the day, looking at the Good, the Bad, and the Unprintable. Now I’m old and jaded, leave that for younger kids :upside_down_face:

I was thinking the same thing and not certain how the updater knew it was a beta file when I changed the preferences. I had previously uninstalled the updater and then re-installed so that it was looking at the BraX server.

So what about that BraX server file indicates to the updater that it is beta? :thinking:

My updater has the beta option turned off: I have not seen any kind of a 7.7 update on it so far.

U only see it if the beta option is checked and then refresh.

I just got the alert for 7.7.

Then I read here that its beta so I paused the download.

After reading your reply I checked my uodater’s preferences to find that I have the beta option unchecked.

Does this mean that as of now that 7.7 is no longer beta?

I came her to make sure it was GTG.

Seems like a real 7.7 was released sometime in the past 24 hrs. My Updater showed it just because i went to Preferences, didn’t touch anything, didn’t refresh, Auto updates is set to never, ah the perversity of inanimate objects …

I thought the real one was coming through now as it showed up in both my updaters (I have 2 BraX3 phones) and beta is not checked.
