Hi all,
is there an option to activate the screen with a single or double tap when the phone is locked?
This is very useful to check for new notifications

I do that too 
as I also have a Samsung phone and that is how it works.
On this, I just touch/press the fingerprint sensor, works laying on the table too or you can turn on Flash Notifications to get the screen to flash or the camera flash to flash.
Yes but it is not so comfortable, I usually leave the phone alone somewhere, then once in a while I would like to check notifications without using fingerprint sensor…
It can use double tap as well to turn off. Double tap upper left.
In phone search settings put in tap to sleep and the phone takes u to the settings configuration to enable.
