My iodèOS is stuck at 6.8

I did not use my BRAX3 phone for the last 6 months and today I decided to update it and get it going. I see I’m stuck at iodèOS 6.8 and Android 15. I have a notification to update to iodèOS 7.2 but no way to install it. Should I download it from the provided URL, unzip it and install it from there? thx for the help

U can download the zip file manually and have the updater app apply this. However, we did have an experimental updater app that was used in the early 7.X versions. I’m not sure if the updater would try to install something that would mess up your phone. 7.4 says that if not done right that it would erase everything on the phone during the upgrade…so data loss. Do u have anything important on the phone? If so, I would back it up before trying the upgrade.

The new 7.4 version is here and if the OTA updates messes things up then flash the fastboot file:

Here are directions:

Wow! What a super fast and excellent reply! Thank you… very well explained. Just one thing I’m not sure about: why am I installing 7.2 if 7.4 is available? Shouldn’t I install 7.4 manually directly? I have no data really since I’m starting to use it now.

So, can I install 7.4 and skip 7.2 and 7.3?

Thx, really appreciated

This was the news iodé put out back in March warning to do all the updates in order or risk data loss.
