im looking into how to send photos in the message app. I get an error code.

Installing QUIK SMS (available in f droid) works as a workaround for many customers. Sometimes issue is related to a misconfigured APN. It’s also worth to verify it with your carrier.
If your getting error code 5, go into the sms app settings and lower the size limit for sending MMS. That was my problem, had to set it to 600kb to get MMS to work.

The pre-installed text ap on Brax3 will not send photos even though it allows photos to be selected and instructed to be sent. What is seen in the conversation is each photo with the word “sending” below or above each picture, I can’t figure out which. This status has remained for days, 7+ now. Written text still is getting transmitted but not the photos.
Does anybody have a suggestion how to fix this since Brax does not offer any customer support after you get your new phone?
Such an unprofessional company, but sadly I have to deal with it, or throw the phone away and go back to and android phone which I am trying to get away from using with Google’s interference.

you fixed my issue. It was set from unlimited data to 600k. works again. in messaging app then settings then move to 600k form unlimited

I am sorry to be so handicap in this technology. I can not find where to access my sms app settings to lower the mms sending limit. I have been trying all menu selections on my phone and can not find the sim app.
When I look at my message it says that it is being done by FossifyOrg. This is what came on my new phone. But I can’t find there how to lower the sending limit also.
I am still trying to get my phone to send photos.

I fixed it !
I found the size settings in the message app under settings. Changed it to 600kb, it worked. Tried 1Mb it didn’t work. With persistence and reading other people’s comments who are fighting the same problem, I got it done.
Now to face the next hurdle to get over.
