Police car cell tower immulator and data capture

Just saw a report on new police car data capture by pretending to be a strongest signal cell tower, scanning phone data including IMEI and other connected device information. Brax prevents big tech IDs in which police departments may have subscriptions to this data. How about the service providers? Do they sell data or are they restricted unless a warrant is presented like in the case of landlines?

George Orwell is in his grave, repeating " I warned you…"

Stingray devices have been used for years and years and your Brax phone can not stop them, but unless there is a big reason to watch you or some big protest is going on close, there is nothing really to worry about for most people.

Your carrier would need a warrant to release anything specific, but probably can sell your name and some other personal info same as all the data places collect.

You need to get out of the KYC (know your customer) problem with service providers. Try to get and activate a phone number and NOT use your real name and address or anything if you can. So then you have the Brax blocking things and now even your number is not linked to you.
