Unable to use device thanks to Do Not Disturb bug

Still can’t connect to Wifi at all and now the new and improved, supercharged Do Not Disturb garbage has the touchscreen disabled. It noticeably “luminates”, so to speak, as long as the ambient light levels are low enough but that’s it. Can access the bootloader but the issue persists even in safe mode.

I’ve already factory reset this thing several times during various other unrelated attempts to troubleshoot issues, without any satisfactory resolution.

I’ve also seen that someone else mentioned this bug back in August on this forum and the post was archived without a response. I’ve overshot my data alottment this month by over an order of magnitude having to download and reinstall updates as a result. I waited nearly 3 months after the device I’d been looking to replace with this one had bit the dust. My frustration has grown immensely so please, can someone kindly offer up some insight here? I funded a phone and didn’t even get a pager is what it feels like.

Apologies for turning this into a rant. Honestly, though, i hope it’s user error. That, I already know can’t be fixed.

Thanks in advance and be easy, everybody!

From what you wrote it seems that you’re a rather advanced user.
Since we don’t have an ETA on fixing those issues from the iodeOS devs, I can recommend that you take a look at LunarOS. It doesn’t have the issues you’ve listed: Welcome to LunarOS

It may be a good solution in the interim until iode issues are resolved, or we just publish more OS options (UB touch, lineageOS, etc.) which are in the making.
