I was messing around with the Brax 3 and did advanced reboot into the recovery screen. I saw that we are booting off of slot B. So it seems like slot A is available…is that for Ubuntu Touch??
Don’t play with those things for no reason. Modern Androids have two slots, they boot from the one and they apply the update to the other so that if the update doesn’t work properly your phone isn’t bricked and you can apply another update later.
I didn’t change anything-so slot A is the backup partition now? It used to give u the ability to dual boot!
Yes they alternate so that the device can always start with some version of Android. Supposedly you can have a dual boot mechanism with the help of the slots.
