7.6.0 update duplicate or was it 7.6.1?

Has there been others, apart from Bob99 & I, that have received an unusual second iodé OS 7.6 update, approximately 8 days after the original 7.6 update, and or know what about ?

And how come every up date is 1.4Gb ? I would’ve thought the size of a new update can/will be different to the prior updates.

Yes, I saw that update. And I installed the new one. Its unfortunate that the creators or persons placing the update for users to add another decimal. So we can see that’s it’s a minor update. As 7.6 and 7.6 are different!!!

The first 7.6 broke NFC, so it was fixed in the second 7.6. The first had a corrupt file and was ultimately removed. There should have been an indication other than the release date, like 7.6.2 but…

Arrr :+1: thanks muchly for the clarification. Yes it should’ve been titled version 7.6.1 AND or some info news, near immediately, about it.

Since the first 7.6 installed update didn’t break my NFC (if that was the only problem), therefore does the second 7.6 really have to be installed, or might that, if I don’t install it, cause the next 7.7 update, not to update ??

Is there, and or where is any such info about how/what each new update has been changed/improved, prior to installing a new update for the BraX3 ??

The first 7.6 broke my USB tethering but haven’t tested the latest update yet.

Just attempted to download the second (July 1) 7.6 update, but it was so slow I had to abort, twice. Wondering about what was wrong/different from previous update downloads led me to this thread. Thanks to posters here for adding what you know, but seems like the Admin folks should be weighing in here?
