“Google Is Closing Android. 37 Orgs Are Fighting Back “

I barely use smartphones for any serious reason, I have much more serious things going on, let them close it down, I can help them burn down Google headquarters and data centers any time they ask for help.
Part of what was mentioned in this is that it will affect F-DROID and the Aurora Store and that will probably affect you.
How would it affect me since I don’t use a smartphone?
OOHHHH - no smartphone at all - go it.
Why are you on here then? - BRAX is a smart phone.
I’m having fun with open source and since those devices exists I’m roaming around in the house listening to music and podcasts, the flashlight is also useful.
If you don’t mind my asking, what then is your tech/method of fast communication with others at a distance if you’re not using a smartphone?
I don’t communicate with people at a distance beyond 2G simple phone which rarely rings or receives SMS from the carrier. For some exceptions I use the Linux desktop.
Hello George, I hope all is well with you. I kinda think that is cool. Not using smartphones. Everything is so invasive in today’s society. It would be nice if I had the know how to disappear. I mean not have a digital footprint
Evil company will do evil things.
BraxOS is planned as Android-based today, but can be Linux-based tomorrow. We know that Android will get closed sooner or later.
That’s right-Linux on the BraX3 is the way to go!!
It has been discussed in the past here in the forum, Internet and technology have been developed by secret agencies and global entities so after gathering the user base and internet-ising everything they are closing down the system towards a model of the type Technocracy, 1984, Brave New World etc, Huxley had also written the “sequel” of Brave New World and you can find his last interview to Wallace on Youtube somewhere in 1958.
Linux is fine, the problem is that all the projects are mostly amateur because there is no user base and so no income(for example Canonical dropped Ubuntu Touch) but the real problem is that most apps are closed-source and you can’t communicate with the servers of the company developing the app in order to have a Linux version like it happens with messaging apps. You can still use emulation like Waydroid.

Where can a person buy batteries for the 2 Brax 3 cellphones they bought?
Check the model of the battery and buy from aliexpress or some other store.
Thank you!
I use Linux on my PC, but how will having Linux on the Brax3 (as opposed to iodeOS or something else) that help with downloading apps on the app stores?

Ubuntu Touch currrelnty is completely useless, check the topics by Lazarus, don’t even think of switching from iodéOS.
I haven’t been in this forum for a while so haven’t read that topic but I guess there are some changes that will need to be made before it’s suitable. It’s new so there are bound to be issues.
