I like that term “normie” phone! I am still using my Zucked phone, while waiting for Brax 3.

Ubuntu Touch is being tested on the Brax 3. They said that they will release it soon. We are all waiting for release.

Is it correct that UT does not support VoLTE at all? Or will the BraX3 implementation of UT support this?

Brax3 supports VoLTE. The big 3 in the United States, AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon all use VoLTE.
As for Ubuntu Touch, there are phones running UT that work with VoLTE, like the Fairphone 4/5 and some other models.
VoLTE on Brax3 running Ubuntu Touch is still under development.

Looking for any news on this as I’m also awaiting, with great expectation, having a Brax 3 with Ubuntu Touch working acceptably.

We’re hoping to launch our new open source destination by the end of this calendar year, including the Ubuntu Touch flashable builds and instructions on how to do so, where to track progress, etc.
