I knew the resolution on the Brax3 wasn’t the greatest but didn’t mind since I cast most media to my Chromecast on my TV. Since I’ve had the phone the cast icon shows up, Chromecast shows up as an option, but when I click the Chromecast option the video continues to play on my phone and nothing is sent to my Chromecast. I have seen other users are having issues casting to their roku as well. Is this something the iodé team is working on or is this a hardware issue?
You can roll the dice with anything proprietary these days if that is your own choice, also could try Fcast by FUTO (roku casting launching anyday) pretty reputable organization and has many amazing concepts in the work, otherwise try researching for other degoogled open source options most likely smoother in the long run.
Do I need another app to get it to work? I have the prime video app and the videos already have the cast icon for casting to my TV. I’ve heard users on the brax2 had no issues but did when they got the brax3 which is why I thought it was the phone or OS. What is Fcast doing and would it work if I’m trying to play videos off prime video?
