I just tried downloading the app via aurora app store and got a message that the app is not available for my device, preventing me from downloading and installing.
I’m assuming that you have the same issue.
I used aurora app store’s spoof manager and changed my device to Samsung Galaxy S25. Then I was able to download and install the app.
You can access the spoof manager by clicking the config icon in top right and selecting spoof manager.
The installation isn’t the problem. It installs fine.
When running it, I can enter my account number and my code - but then I get the error message stating:
Nous n'avons pas pu nous assurer de
l'integrité de votre appareil. Merci de
n'utiliser l'application BoursoBank que sur
un appareil physique non altéré (root,
rom...). En l'état, votre application n'est pas
autorisé à se connecter à Boursobank.
which in english shows:
We were unable to verify the integrity of your device. Please only use the BoursoBank application on a physical device that has not been modified (rooted, custom ROM, etc.). Currently, your application is not authorized to connect to Boursobank
This looks like the same issue we’ve had with Revolut app during beta testing.
The app showed that it won’t run on the phone as the phone is unlocked/running custom ROM. The issue got resolved in an update.
The latest IodéOS availble for the Bras3: ver 6.6 from August 3rd.
Question: Does the spoof manager does it for all applications, or is the “app” tagged at install? (I think I’ll have some issue with the other banking apps that are already installed if the phone suddenly changes ).
The spoof manager basically spoofs your device model to the store itself.
Not to the app. The app gets your device model after getting installed on the phone.
So it will not change the issue.
What is weird is that it will install fine, but the checks are failing when the app starts.
Do they do it by checking against a DB, or is just google telling them that it is not Ok?
Disabling IodéOS’s security didn’t change a thing either.
PS: talking to support staff at the bank does not help either. My newbornm granddaughter seems to know more then them… sigh
I can confirm that all these settings are set as per your list except -
the one checkmark that is not set is: Permission to This app can appear on top of other apps (in the self check).
BTW - I had provided my google credentials to microG …
This one isn’t essential for this use case. I’ll try to check in on what was done to get Revolut working but I don’t know if this is the exact same scenario.
That would allow various google apps to work such as Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Voice, etc. when you need to provide a Google login.
I’ve posted an inquiry, but they are also in holiday season. I did see a strange comment on the /e/ forum that someone removed their Google Account info from microG and then Boursobank allowed login. But as Plexus seems to note, the challenge is with newer versions of the app, which may have outdated the /e/ discussion.
Just to keep the thread alive. The guys from Iodé OS should have come back from vacation now, and will probably look into the WiFi issue first.
But this one is quite important IMHO (at least for me)
