Hello: Im about ready to place an order for the BraX3 phone, but I want to know if several of my MUST have apps work fully on the app. Being new to privacy phones, and not finding answers in about 20 hours of online searching, so I thought Id try here. What Im wondering is, if someone here “knows-for-a-fact,” (as for example from personal experience), if these apps do work properly on the BraX3 phone (and if not, is it known why?). They are: Abode security app. the Eufy security app. Ecoflows app. Ecobees thermostat app. The HoSmart driveway motion detectors app. The whole Proton security Suite. Then, heres a few apps that arent must-have deal-breakers, but Im hoping someone can confirm these work: BTech radio apps. DJI drone apps. Carrington app. Organic Maps App. I kno someone is pulling teeth right now thinking how dumb this question may be, but as a professional level ignoramus, I am just cobbling together knowledge about this field now. Thanks for any knowledge.

Hey there.
I can confirm that the proton security suite, as well as the organic maps app are working fine.
Maybe someone can confirm that they’re using the rest of the apps.
There are usually very few apps that won’t work with a deGoogled device like the BraX3. Those are mainly banking apps. Those can be easily used through the web app though (using brave or other browser).
Thanks for that answer! I hope someone can make those confirmations.
The challenge is that while some apps may work today, a future update may prevent them from working. There are no guarantees for future compatibility The privacy journey is never an easy one.
In general, the apps that won’t work are usually the most intrusive apps, including many trackers, which when blocked prevent the app from working. What’s positive is that there are many privacy and sometimes open-sourced alternatives that work well.
I use entire Proton suite and Organic Maps no problem…
