Apple users: an observation

Hi!

I’ve noticed an interesting phenomenon. When I first received my Brax3, I still had my Apple ID along with my iPhone and an M1 2020 MacBook Air (with iCloud, etc.). I set up a hotspot off my Brax using a WPA2/3 with a password, and it worked wonderfully on both devices; with unlimited data, you pretty much never need a router again.

Then, I deleted my Apple ID, and as soon as I received a notice that the account is officially dead (~30d), the hotspot off of Brax stopped working for all apple products UNLESS I remove security from the hotspot (select “None” for security). Though, it will work fine on devices like a Motorola smartphone that has been factory-reset.

This is not a complaint, but an observation. Maybe someone smart out there can shine some light on this?

Do you mean that the hotspot stopped working for any device, or just stopped working for your apple products?
