Aurora store stopped working for me

Every app says “not available for your device” no matter what device the store is spoofed to. I generally keep it on? This is recent. If used to work

I have just installed iode on a pixel8pro and have installed the exact same apps with all the exact settings and even if I set both phones to the same spoof the pixel will download and the brax will not. What’s happened? On fdroid I even get different search results for the same app on both phones when spoofing the same phone.

The only difference I can see is in microg settings “device attestation” is set to on on the pixel but its greyed out and can’t be changed (that i can see), but the brax has it turned off, And is also greyed out and can’t see how to change it, and its been that way since the beginning I think

Slide up and kill the app and start it again.

And if that doesn’t work wait up to 2 days, reboot your phone, and try again…

It’s usually a transient error, most likely caused by big G, and will disappear in 6, 12, 24, 36, 48 or 72 hours, etc…

Tried quitting, it persisted.

However. Now it works after a few days of not working.

Anyone know about the “device attestation” setting?

Don’t bother, google continuously tries to block it like it does with yt-dlp for YouTube.

Yep, as I said above:

Yeah it seems to often not work at all and next day It will. Sometimes even a full reboot doesn’t fix it, so.etimes it does.

Also weird how my pixel 8pro with exactly the same settings and apps and spoof shows completely different apps in the search results in aurora store. An app I installed on brax3 cannot be found in aurora on the pixel. Had to go to apk pure and that site seems dodgy as.

Try this so that you can open Play links

Settings->Apps->Aurora Store->Open By Default/Add Link

@george how does the add link work? What links to I add and where do I get them. Will it divert links to google store to aurora?

Yes, as I can understand it will divert the Play store app link to Aurora.

Thanks. Now even search results linking to google open in aurora…should be a default imo

This is was has worked relibably for me.

  1. Force stop the app.
  2. Go into the app info.
  3. Go into storage.
  4. Clear storage, not cache, the actual storage.
  5. Start Aurora again.
  6. Do a new session.
  7. Tap next.
  8. Tap finish.
  9. Select your logon, Google or anoymous.
  10. It should work for updates and installs again.

Anytime aurora stops working, I logout of aurora, restart device, then connect anonymous and all works again. I do believe Google is continuously kicking anonymous users off.

the answers mycenius & iamjeeves posted above have worked for me. often just logging out and reclicking the anonymous option in aurora work for me. There are some that don’t work at all. I now don’t bother with those apps at all. there are very few apps i get from Aurora that don’t work as a web app, or that I do without and access the service on a website… there are some that won’t work without G’s spyware though.
