I have repeatedly stated that every moment you should assume that your digital devices are hacked and they know everything about you. Even if the specific case is a hoax or not so important it’s a showcase of what can happen any time. Traditional pencil and paper is enough for anything important.
george you are appreciated. Reply is not entirely on the mark as far as being helpful. 
Knowledge is strength or atleast wise. Blind fear and paranoia is exhastive at a minimum. 
Android is safer due to native virtualisation of the apps but they could steal cookies from other websites and this is why we don’t save passwords and autofill information. I also posted a relevant topic recently about Intellexa, the Progressive Web Apps and the Service Workers that can hack Android.
