Hi All - any best alternative to Shazam suggestions? I’ve found a few but some seem to only be Windows/macOS/Linux desktop clients, others not sure how ‘good’ they would be at recognising and identifying songs, etc…?
Appreciate feedback on any people have used or ones you believe are rated the highest or the most private, etc…?
What is the reason you’re looking for an alternative to Shazam?
It isn’t working or there are some other issues (e.g. privacy)?
I’ve seen Audile (available in f-droid) mentioned in some forums, but not sure how good it is.
Given it is an Apple owned product I assumed it’d have embedded tracking, etc… but I hadn’t looked into it in more depth so was just casting a net to see what viable options might be…

Audile is updated more frequently.
Audire uses less permissions, and Shazam api’s.

@Mycenius soundhound is not part of the gafam but has 11 trackers embedded, mostly for login into your google, facebook,… account’s
Deezer is detecting also your sound but need to have a paid account of course for it.
