Better text options for groupchats

Hi lads! I am in search of a better alternative to fossify messages. I’m noticing that I cannot use a group chat function and reach out to more than one number at a time.

Let me know!

Cheers

I could be wrong, but I am not sure you can as there is no Google. So there is no RCS and group chat, sending large pictures and videos and things like that.

Try the Chomp app someone suggested in another topic.

My wife is using Chomp and she is big user of group messaging, sending pictures, etc. She’s not having any issues using Chomp for SMS/MMS.

Hmm, thats good to know some success stories out there. I switched to chomp a few weeks ago and havent been able to add group chats or send pictures. I’m still trying to figure out what the problem is.

I am using the app that came with the Brax3.
Is there not a way to just emoji reply ( like other phones? I have to do so with a reply text. Sonit may not even apply to what I need it to.

My situation, sometimes a thumbs up means “yes” to excepting a job, in the work group.. (first come first served) But my replies I think only hit the last person posted in a WORK Group. I can’t attach a thumbs up to a job offer text box.

Is there another app to use?

I am using chomp, it seems to work for other people here in this forum well. I’m not very tech savy so I’m working out the kinks with my Brax 3 right now. Overall, chomp works great besides the recent things I’m working through

Im am not adapting to Anroid gracefully avoiding the most useful Known apps for the privacy version has been tough for my specific situation. I will look up chomp to understand how to use it.
There must be a YouTube video out there to help.
Thanx :+1:t2:

Can u describe how she has her settings? Will it make a difference on who your carrier is? For instance I use atnt.

We use Ting for our carrier, which is connected to T-mobile. We have all the permissions allowed that the app needs to function, like, contacts and accounts, music and audio (if you want to select a different notification sound for your contacts),notifications, phone, photos and videos, sms (as the default sms app). I don’t think any other settings on her phone makes any difference. The carrier could make a big difference on the way a sms app behaves. You may have to check your ATT settings on your account page on their site. See if there are any permissions or sttings you need to turn on.

Thank you for this contribution. I asked about this a bit ago but didn’t get this comment awhile back.

I am ATT. There used to be a settings list being updated in this community I think? For trouble shouting.

I have been hesitant as of late, now that I live kinda remote, to attempt Editing settings. Finding the info needed is challenging for me, not having the jargon knowledge solid, to confidently know what am looking for to adjust anything.

LOL, I can custom build a kitchen cabinate from lumber, but not install a group emjo . Life is rediculous some days.
