Hi think my phone might fall under
Return and replacement policy for faulty product(s) or toward around there but need help please, read below as support mail sent me to the forum when I contacted them.
Hi I recently opened my Phone around New Years and finally got spare time to switch to it with excitement.
I followed Brax youtube video and did as stated to the best of my efforts.
Following after the first day I left my old phone at home and used the brax phone I had downloaded the latest I think it was firmware that was required or strongly recommended.
I am not sure if I got the firmware installed as I think it only became finished with the download and not installation,
(might had undergone installation during my buss trip to town but sadly cant answer as I dont know)
for it as I head out to town with it.
The phone seemed to work and the only single thing that I downloaded for it if even that was Proton too be able check my mail otherwise didnt use the web browser internet or any apps at all outside the brax video as I remember at least.
After coming into town before I entered the church and put the phone (as I always done with my old android phone) on quiet mode and airplane mode the same instant the exact same second to less the phone turns totally black.
When I came home the phone seems to be totally functioning when I restart it I see the start logo but the phone continues otherwise to be black totally on the screen. I tried to a very few times carefully holding in the side buttoms for a reset but couldnt manage and dont want to do too much more as this is feeling outside of my area and I do not want to take any risks with this more than what seemed to be the only recommended reset option to try.

If you don’t have any important data you can hold the Volume Up button when you see the brax logo during power up and search in the menu for the factory reset option.
If this doesn’t work you can also try to flash the operating system with the SPFlash tool by connecting to the computer but leave this for later.
Thanks for the very quick answer and help but as I tried to describe that is the only thing I have tried the factory reset thingy.
(took out the phone from having put it away here for a long time since last and did it now again when you wrote about it just now)
The SPFlash tool is something I dont understand how to go about doing and if there is any video showing how one does it I would appriciate it alot and also yes I dont have anything at all in/on the phone as I never got the chance to use it so I dont care about erasing/wipe:ing and reseting everything and such.
I apologize for my grammar and type of writting style as I have a hard time writing instead of talking.
Sadly dont have access too an windows computer as our household only has linux and mac here and says the that spflash tool doesnt seem to work on linux or mac.
For linux otherwise it seems to need a working screen in the first step of fastboot when needing to unlock the think it said bootloader.
Am I stuck in have:ing gotten a defective phone ordered to me or is there still a way for a solution?
I might be able to borrow one of our family members or friends windows computer while at their places but my wife here jokingly said that it might not be appropriate to do it on the communitys local library,
to that I agree.

I am still happy I got some help from someone.
I have only tried unsuccessfully to copy the user data through Linux SPFlash.
This is why I always have a dual boot with Windows 10 though maybe a Virtual Machine with Windows maybe works too. The Windows could be on a separate unplugged disk for emergency cases.
The phone is probably defective and @plamen will help you.
Hi sorry for the late answer and need to go soon here so probably cant reply more today but how does one contact @plamen?
Dont know about Virtual Machines and how they work have problems with most Linux os also as they are too hard for me to understand think its Linux Mint I might have now tried something called slackware before but couldnt call it trying even as I couldnt even install it I belive.

Thanks for writing George and Lazarus will try both what you guys wrote and contact Plamen but after have looked into the SPFlash in Linux Mint otherwise I might have to ask Plamen if I could just sent the phone back with all things in the mail towards some solution hopefully, think it might go towards doing that in the end as it might be too difficult for me with the SPFlash maybe but need to try first I think.

I tried to understand the SPFlash and get to learn and make do with it in the morning here now for a longer time but sadly this seems beyond me as I strongly think Im not so tech savvy as many others here.
Watched several youtube videos and read even more texts online and tried my way at least but couldnt even get it up and running.
I tried looking into trying to write to Plamen but dont know how to go about that cant find it anywhere my last course of action would seem to be to ask him or anyone else in equal position about sending the well pretty much almost totally un-used*
(*started it and wrote how it went black screen first usage of phone but otherwise seems to work but totally black cant see anything)
not working phone back so it can be confirmed as not in sent working state or within the garanties for thus for refund and I have Im pretty sure followed all garanties of when got my order and used the phone first time then reported to company about said phone as soon and directly as I could so all should be in order and can be shown in reciepts (sorry spelling and grammar in my writing)
I might not be able to follow up this matter soon becuse of my wife giving birth soon and will most likelly be to busy then with the family for obvious reasons so I might end up without any phone at all if the old one breaks totally as even the shell of the old cat android phone has started to break up as Ive had it for a long time now.
In the end I just want to hope for any closure just knowing if I even can send back the phone or not to end the matter would calm me also I apologise as I do not know as stated how to send private messages and hope not to many read this post as the matter is kind of urgent for me in the reason of me writing this in this manner now and I think it might be good if this post would be removed after being resolved afterwards perhaps if no answer in the long run.

I cant see any envelope and have no way I know to contact @plamen so I think I need to try a last time to contact the [email protected] about an suspected defective order and notifing them about not being able to reach anyone in charge of being able to answer me about my case in how to handle the order here like plamen as an example,
as it has taken a long time now.
