Brax3 Added a Tempered Glass Screen Protector & Phone Grip

I saw the recommendation from another community member for these glass screen protectors so I bought them, just installed one, and I am quite satisfied with the result.

I had previously also purchased a magnetic phone grip and glued it to the back of a clear otterbox case (with gorilla super glue) for my pixel 9 and liked that, so I did the same to my Brax3 with the free clear case we get in the delivered phone box.

Have you been able to notice improved screen readability compared to the privacy screen protector originally offered? I’d be willing to sacrifice the “can’t read screen from an angle” feature if I could get better readability in bright conditions. On the ski lift today (in sunny conditions with lots of white all around), I had challenges seeing the “take a photo” button in the camera app.

I was actually concerned that I would have a problem with brightness with the security screen so I never installed it. So, I can’t really comment on that. Sorry.

Generally speaking, a non-privacy screen protector will have a better readability than a privacy screen protector. While the privacy screen protectors improved over the years, they are not going to be 100% clear when front facing.
