BraX3 delivery updates

Me too, also received my BraX3 phones. I was pleased with Under Promised and Over delivered results. Now the question is “When will it make me a cup of Latte each morning”?

Whoa now pizza, I wouldn’t go that far “under promised, over delivered”. Give the credit that is due.

I had realistic expectations for a little indie company and a crowd funded project. I would say that the expectations were met.

Some constructive criticism - Brax has some work to do still. Phone is good at the price, logistics can improve.

I would like to see this company succeed so that I can get parts and have something sustainable here.

The BraX3 is more than adequate for my situation. Each of us has their own needs for privacy. I only use a communication device when it is an operational requirement. I am not one who is always carrying around an RF emitting device. I noticed that from 2014, onward more and more people ( one exception is gamers) no longer use desktop computers since they have replaced them with notebooks, i-Things and smartphones. Today, people expect smartphones to solve the problems that the smartphones created. FyI. I still use pagers (voice and digital) they only announce their presence when they are in use, and they have huge issues ( monitoring and decoding) but I know exactly how to control them using stress codes and social engineering.

I am too busy with other projects to worry about issues for which I can not control. However if the Lexus of smartphones is available, I will promptly “garage” my new Toyota ( BraX3). ROFL.

More than 180 hrs after receiving the Asendia tracking #, AND STILL ! Asendia has NOT been given my B3 package for to ship it :hand_with_fingers_splayed:t3::unamused_face::raised_back_of_hand:t4: AND APPARENTLY, not that i’ve yet seen any up to date evidence there of since my package was packed, all the contence of my original (2Q 2024) order are within that, lost in action, or more so, not visibly trackable via my tracking #, that of my way way overdue B3’s package. How :leftwards_hand:t3::frowning::rightwards_hand:t4: is that !
But, I’ve heard that there’s at least 80 others with similar and known tracking troubles. Them particular B3 orders are being steadily looked into and accounted for, Plamen said :ok_hand:t3::wink::+1:t4:

Yea maybe :+1:t4: I just asked Plamen, ‘does he really trust what’s going on between the items packed stage and the completed delivery to the shipping agent’

I got my phone eventually (to Oz). If its any consolation, tracking didnt change with Asendia for 2 weeks. At all. And it took a month to arrive. Once it leaves Asendia the tracking picks up a bit.

I agree with Sparkie here. Also Oz, haven’t received my phone yet but it’s with Asendia. I did receive the adaptor months ago and that was also sent with Asendia. Took 'm 10 (ten) days before it eventually left their warehouse but after that it arrived after a couple of days. It’s frustrating but this seems to be the norm, you’ll receive it eventually.

Mmm8, that’s mighty not ethically wright. Quite a shambles indeed !
Did yo use the down loaded tracking gigga from tha Asendia’s website ?
Just like my one :thinking::backhand_index_pointing_down:t3:

And if so, did yours show that the B3 package, like what alarmingly looks like in my case, that it has not even yet been handed to Asendia ?? Or was it so that Asendia had actually received your package, and it was from then that no update happened for along time ?

So I’m about to cry. My repacement phone finally started to make its way to me. Through Amazon Shipping, stating in Texas, delivery was set for Tuesday, Oct 21. It made to MI, where it hasn’t moved since Monday… Monday, October 20 at
9:53 PM:
Package arrived at the carrier facility
Romulus, MI, US
Last update stated its running late and no estimated delivery date at this time. Which was on Wednesday morning. Ive been waiting months for a repacement due to issues the 1st one had. I have surpressed the Karen in me, but not sure how much longer I can hold her back. This is not a direct Brax issue, but I’m so frustrated. My first one was through Fedex and took 2 days. Its been a week now and its stuck. If it got lost, I’m going to turn into a 3 year old having a fit.

Amazon deliveries are most likely impacted by the AWS crash earlier this week.
If there is an issue with delivery (lost in transit), we can always reship. Last time it took us so long to replace because we ran out of BraX3 in the US warehouse. Now, we can ship same day basically.

Let me explain this a bit more.

International shipments that require export/import (as is the case with RoW orders shipping out of the US) involve many middle-men companies.
Each transferring goods between and each serving a purpose whether it’s to actually move the goods, store the goods temporary (when waiting on a new flight), transfer ownership for export/import purposes, etc. On top of that, some carriers don’t scan the packages on pickup, which is what our fulfillment partner told us (sounds bizzare).

That whole process of delivering a product usually takes a couple of weeks. Could take a bit more, depending on the country, flights scheduled, etc.

The challenge is that we don’t get granular updates on these movements, and as a result it looks like a stalemate. Because the delivery time is long, last time it took us very long to figure out that the packages were never picked up (about 100 or so), because they shared the same status with packages that were picked up and delivered.

This time, we asked for confirmation and proof that packages weren’t getting lost at the dock. We received that confirmation, so there is no major issue affecting orders in bulk. At the same time, it’s still possible that an order gets lost in transit.

We are exploring other options for international shipments for the future. This was the best we could do now, including a DDP option. If we choose a FedEx express for example, the average cost of a shipment would’ve been 60-70$, and high DDP fees.
As we’re growing in scale, and as we’re learning more, better options will be available.

I just used the link from the email i received. It showed as not picked up. Eventually i could get more details from the next courier.

Its a process, but despite seeming stalled, it will be on its way. Mine bounced around the US for 3 weeks, and then did Japan, Sydney, Melbourne in a week or so.

Thank you Brax team for replying quickly to my earlier post. I did some research and anything going through the Detroit MI area is crawling. Many lost power from storms, along with Amazon’s server issues earlier this week. It appears Amazon’s ditrubition in that area lost power for 3 days. They are back logged and trying to get their logetics straighted out.
