Where is this phone actually coming from? Are there parts or manufacturing from China?
Virtually all mobile phones and probably at least 95% of parts for all mobile phones (from every brand ) come from China. They are the only country with the industry and technical knowledge to manufacture phones on a large scale… you can thank Apple and Co later for that.
Making phones is complex and involves contributors from different parts of the world.
Design by our teams (Europe and US). The CPU (major component) is made in Taiwan. Driver/firmware code developed in Taiwan,. The OS is developed in Europe. Cameras in South Korea. Display, battery and others - mainly made in China. Testing done in Europe. The final assembly is made in China.
