Dual boot isn’t supported (yet). So a separate device will be needed.

Can’t wait, would also like to see a basic flip phone with camera and text for the older generation. Have converted my parents computers to Linux but their phones need changing due to network changes. BraxOS on a basic phone would be very popular I think.

I would like to participate as well. Rob Braxman says he might start selling returned but good Brax3 phones at a discounted price, so that would be ideal as a test bed.
Here is a rather lengthy tutorial on Seedvault and how to backup/restore your phone. It’s a lot; still picking through it myself.

Just have a backup backup plan also - even if its just documenting your set up. As Seedvault is, or can be, a bit flaky at times by all accounts. So I don’t have 100% confidence in it even though I am using it…

I decided to just buy a second Brax3 for Ubuntu Touch and that is done-I’m ready to test Ubuntu Touch when this is ready. Just explain how to get iodé restored using a Linux computer!
