I bought an eSim and after downloading and installing it via a qr code, and checking the various parameters for that sim, I cannot switch to it from the sim handler.
Error “Can’t switch SIMs Something went wrong. Can’t switch SIMS.”
Have ypu done a hard reboot after installing the SIM? Sometimes the system just needs a refresh…
Yes, I’ve tried shutdown and restart, multiple times. I tried removing the physical sim, same. The esim provider (simsup) gave me another esim via a QR code and installed perfectly, but the same error. The esim also does not work on another phone (pixel 8x) from Brax store running Iode, so that’s the common parameter here. The only reason I’m not using a Brax esim is that they require a credit card or USDC from a Coinbase wallet if using crypto, so it’s KYC. If Ii can’t get this to work I’ll be stuck with my physical sim and buying Tracfone minutes, which is not an optimum solution.
I found another eSIM provider ‘nadanada’ bought an eSIM and it works great.
