Is anyone able to use cash app on Brax3? i installed the app, but can’t login.
It’s a hit and a miss with banking apps unfortunately due to the google play integrity checks.
To get the best chance of making them work, you need a locked bootloader (BraX3 bootloader is locked by default) and enabled microG services.
Maybe someone from the community can share if they made cash app work on their BraX3.
Thanks plamen. What is a locked bootloader? If BraX3 bootloader is locked by default, shouldn’t it mean that my Brax3 bootloader is already locked? Thanks!
Check this explanation:
An Android bootloader is the first program that runs when a phone powers on, acting as a gatekeeper that decides which operating system (OS) or kernel to load. A locked bootloader ensures that only software signed by the manufacturer (like the stock Android system) can run, providing security, while an unlocked bootloader removes this restriction, allowing modified or custom software (custom ROMs) to run.
Yes, all BraX3 devices come with locked bootloader by default (pretty standard for all devices, for security purposes).
Thanks for that. Well, BraX3 bootloader is locked, as you mentioned, and microG services is enabled. Still Cash App is not working. If anyone has it working, they can let me know, please.
I installed it and it asks for my phone number.
And? Did you enter your phone number? Did you get a code to enter in Cash App? Were you able to login?
I used an emali and it says it’s unavailable , it could be the integrity , I could check the logs for more information.
I got a log but I have to read it carefully because I can’t see something obvious.
The app is called squareup.cash .
@plamen What should I see in the LogCat ?
The keyword “integrity” doesn’t exist and neither the app nor MicroG seems to give any relevant message.
I tried it again with restarting the app but I didn’t get Integrity errors, only measurements and such things.
Only this seems to be something but I guess it’s common,
Failed to find entry 'classes.dex': Entry not found
I think it’s the old style of packaging the apps.
