I can mirror to my roku but cant cast or mirror to chromecast. Any ideas out there n what I may be missing? Do I need the google Home app to make this happen? I shy want any google apps if I can avoid them. Thanks for any help

I’ve read that lineageOS (the base for iodeOS) supports cast to chromecast for older devices only.
I’m pinging @rik to check with his team whether that’s supported on iodeOS

Thank you Plamen, I am able to cast to my Roku dongle, Chromecast doesn’t even show up but the cast button and Miracast app works. Miracast doesn’t work on my Motorola so I’m very pleasantly surprised that it works on Brax3. So far very very happy with this phone. Also somebody mentioned that newpipe doesn’t work anymore but it definitely is working on my phone and brave is still blocking yt ads just fine as well.

Has there been any update to this? I was recommended fcast app as a substitute for google home app but that only seems to work for grayjay and nothing else.
We were told that the issue is downstream with lineageOS. I don’t see this actively being worked on by their team. Will try to push it more, but making it work on LOS is a prerequisite to get it running on iodeOS.
