I can’t connect with USB to a computer running Ubuntu. The phone is in developer mode. When I plug it in nothing happens. lsusb shows nothing related to the phone. When I go to USB in settings it won’t stay in “file transfer” mode (It will switch to tethering if you try selecting file transfer).

George, can you take a screenshot of your Ubuntu phone connected. Like prove it
I don’t have an Ubuntu phone.
I have UT on one of my BraX3 phones. I never tried to get files off my computer to the phone but it doesn’t seem to show up no matter what I do. There’s a USB setting in SETTINGS but when u tap file transfer it doesn’t see my PC and vice versa.
I have been using a USB thumb drive to transfer files. If that drive is formatted to FAT32 it shows right up.
The USB default is tethering. Maybe it’s a super phone now that has computer powers and isn’t behaving like it did in Android! ![]()
I can’t see my phone from a Linux PC with lsusb, blkid or fdisk. It is connected as a file transfer device.
