I have been unable to connect both of my Brax3 devices to my home WLAN/WiFi router since I received them on the 7th of August 2025. My router is a Netgear AC1900
Cable Modem Router Model C7000v2.
I upgraded the OS every time an update was published and tried to connect to the router unsuccessfully. I am currently running iodéOS 6.8 (29 September 2025 release).
Attempts to connect to the router (with the correct network password)
result in a “Could not connect to Wi-Fi network NETGEAR86-5G” toast
message.
The router’s configurations are shown in the attached screenshot. Both of
the router’s 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks are set to WPA2-PSK [AES] by
default. The only other options are “WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]” and “WPA/WPA2 Enterprise”.
Please advise me on whether this network connection issue can be resolved or whether I had better return both Brax3 devices for a refund or perhaps try installing a different OS which has connectivity issues. Let me
know if you need other information which would be helpful in resolving
this problem.
PS: The Brax3 device does successfully connect to my Pixel 9’s hotspot,
but this is unsustainable as I desire a direct connection to my home
router.
