Endless “Stream” Connections - Proton Pass, Tuta, etc., Appear Even When Those Apps Aren’t Running

I’m seeing a very odd behavior in the iode app. In the “Stream” view it continuously lists connection attempts -several per second- in an endless loop. Most of the entries are URLs from Proton Pass, but I also notice some URLs from Tuta, Tidal and some others appearing there as well.

What makes this especially puzzling is that neither Proton Pass nor Tuta nor Tidal are running on my Brax3 (iodéOS 7.2), yet the app keeps cycling through all of those URLs without stopping.

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know why the iode app would generate traffic for Proton services that aren’t active?

If you have the apps installed and turned off the app battery optimization then they run in the background so that you don’t miss notifications.

Thanks for your answer. The situation is very unusual because the events were registered continuously, as for 20 events per second; notably all of my URLs saved in Proton Pass cycled infinitely (in between some from Tuta and others).

After a factory reset it is not occurring now

You could delete the app data in the Android settings and any cookies on the browser.
