You could also give Bravepipe a try if you want Rumble or Bitchute available in a Newpipe style (fork) app.

Grayjay bas stopped working with YouTube for me (even without VPN, cleared cache and 0 Iodé security).

Newpipe seems to work without braxvpn. But I liked the creator feature best on grayjay

There IS a very clunky way to watch YouTube videos on Freetube, even when it halts playback with errors; at least, it works for me.

(I hate to post this, as it might get spotted by YT and blocked, but oh well
)

  1. Open Freetube as normal and enter the URL for the video you want to watch.
  2. After all the errors are thrown, go to the “Share Video” button in the lower right-hand side of the interface, down below the video title. It is round, blue and looks like a wishbone on it’s side.
  3. Click this button and a dual menu will pop-up with YT and Invidious menu selections.
  4. Click on the left, lowest bar under YT titled “Open Embed”
  5. This will launch a browser window with the video embedded in the window.
  6. IMPORTANT: WAIT a minimum of 5 seconds before clicking on the red play button in the middle of the video. I don’t know why this is important, but repeated use of this method has convinced me you MUST wait or the connection will bomb-out.
  7. The video will play as normal, but to see comments or “up next” videos in the queue, you have to look at the FreeTube app; which will still function to show comments.
  8. I have found it best to launch the “open embed” button with NO browser open. Let it spawn a new window to avoid problems.
  9. My browser is set to clear all cookies and data upon closing, so I close it before attempting to launch another video and it seems happier this way.

Edit: Oh yes. It sometimes requires a VPN connection that originates outside of the USA.

If an app in Aurora is in available just change your spoof device to another, preferably a popular device that normies would use

The good news is that YT is getting so bad that I won’t really miss it when I can no longer watch without a login.

Entertainment wise? Yes, but there are still some good tech channels, you just have to weed out all the crud.
