@george if you decide to root, you’ll want to start using the spflash tool to install new builds because OTA’s will fail to install (“download only” option with user_data unchecked). Copy init_boot.img from the spflash build zip to your phone and use the magisk app (“install” action) to patch the file. Copy it back to your computer. Then from the bootloader you run “fastboot flash init_boot_a <patched.img>”. You’ll have to repeat this each time you spflash a new build. If you’re not already fami…
