How do i scan documents?

i noticed that the camera app has a “scan“ option, but i cannot get it to work. i turn the camera on, tap the “scan“ option, aim the camera at the document, but there is no button to tap to actually do the scanning. Please advise.

This scans QR codes and better do it with the QR scanner from F-droid which shows you the contents.

Scanning documents means putting the photos in a PDF, if you can’t do it manually like with the Collabora suite then install an app that does this.

I can also recommend OSS Document Scanner to get the job done.
As george said, the scan feature in the camera app is for QR code scanning. There is no native document scan feature (convert image to pdf).
