So, I purchased my first phone from Rob, Now Rob keeps saying its a different company, Buy From Indiegogo, But Indiegogo doesn’t seem private, has rules like they keep 9% of your money even if you don’t receive the phone, Does not even say if they are in stock, charges more for case/screen protector. The site is NOT easy to use for a old guy like me.
How do I get my second Brax3 phone easy… without paying a penalty, are they in stock, IS BRAX ME (Rob) walking away from Brax3 now (Is there a problem, like security ? ) Please help me understand and also if possible, get my second Brax3 phone… Or should I just go back to Pixel phones (DE Googled) Thanks, Doug
I feel your pain Doug. My first Brax3 came from the original store, not Indiegogo. I had to wait a very long time to receive the phone. The wife was telling me I got scammed. That is why I decided to wait for Rob to restock with Brax3 on Brax.me. And now he is referring us to Indiegogo which I really don’t want to use that site. I really like the Brax3 and really want another one. I’m concerned that if I was to order another one from Indiegogo that it would take months again to receive. And I’m really done with that waiting. I’ve never had a Pixel but may consider one myself.
So who is your provider? NO ONE supports it. very expensive clock/camera, because that’s all it will do!!! Pathetic!!! I will spend lots of time telling EVERYONE about this scam phone!!!
So Tech sends me a email saying here’s 2 links… (There are no links) first is to indiegogo which is exactly what I don’t want to use…see posts above, second is to brax.me store, which says sold out check back later. So I am being patient as I like rob and what he seems to stand for, albeit I never actually met rob of course. Please help and If you need to, we can do a voice call.

From a not so young person, I found indiegogo ok to navigate & have received email that the ph is on the way. Since Mar31 have been navigating life without a ph & wow… a tiresome task… I am looking forward to receiving the phone & appreciate the youtubes from Rob BraxMan. Was able to transition my PC to Linux from his youtubes as well. I was in the PC industry in the Dos years and went through the Gates of change. Have been using Libre Office for years but have lacked the time to move to Linux OS. Personally I liked the idea of making the Brax3 available in a community funded platform, it demonstrates something fundamental in terms of professional philosophy.
Hoping the phone will be relatively easy to navigate for a newbie…
from a also not young person, but retired engineer.
Indiegogo, as stated above
Indiegogo doesn’t seem private, has rules like they keep 9% of your money even if you don’t receive the phone -AND- charges more for case/screen protector. This would be my second one, I purchased the first on Brax.me site. I am concerned if Rob is not supporting, maybe its not private anymore, and a NDA means he couldn’t tell us.
It is a different company. Braxtech.net and that is the company that builds the brax3 and will be building all the future items. Rob is not distancing himself he is one of the co-founders of the company. Rob does not have the ability to build these devices, so the company was created for that purpose, and he has a team of engineers there doing that. Braxme is Robs company and provides his various services. Braxtech.net provides the technical support for the phones not Rob. Its not Robs job to provide tech support for the hardware, that is for the engineers to do.
Thanks for the reply. Looking at Braxtech.net, replys were generic and did not answer my questions that were clearly stated in my posts, In addition to above, I looked up Indiegogo and found they have a 1 star rating, with thousands of complaints. I am Glad to read its not rob’s company and is a seperate company having all these issues. I guess I just wont get another Brax3 phone as everything between Braxtech and Indiegogo puts up a red flag.
Thank you so much for your response , I do appreciate the information. -Doug-
