How to migrate my information from iPhone to brax3

I am struggling to get anything from my iPhone to my new brax3. It doesn’t seem to see any information on my SIM card. I’m at a loss. Help?

SIM cards themselves typically do not store any data. If you are wanting contacts, calendar, messages, etc. then you would need to get “exports” of those done from the various apps on your iPhone.

So you need to clarify what apps you want data from, then look at each one to see how to best get the data out and in. Sorry I have never used an iPhone, so I can’t offer any specific advice.

I am sure many will be in your situation and will also be able to assist.

Thank you for your response. The Brax3 only wants to import, so I hadn’t considered an export. I’ll keep trying. Again thank you.

OK, yes this is using Seedvault, which can be used to keep backups of a good bit of your system for future import to another phone with Seedvault. But the same applies to it, apps like Signal, for example, will not be able to be imported this way due to their encryption and device migration policy. You would need to “migrate to a new device” from the Signal app on the old and new phone.

Log into your iCloud account.
Then export items from various apps.
You can search for help on the apple/iCloud website.
Then import into Brax… and that, I haven’t done yet.

I tried unsuccessfully. I just ordered a small drive that I hope helps.
Thanks

I found very good step by step instructions on Apple’s website.

Apple provides this guide for exporting contacts from iOS. Calendar export is unfortunately only partially supported. You can find more info about this process here:
