I Need Guidance For Where to Find Help BraX2

Two years ago I inherited my husband’s BraX2 phone. Today it will not receive calls; it will do texting. I thought perhaps an update would fix it, but the BraX2 icon on my phone doesn’t do anything. I can’t find any BraX2 info on the net.

Please advise, thank you!

It sounds like an APN problem, find your carrier’s APN settings and go into your SIM’s and phone settings to configure them because probably your calls go over LTE like your mobile data.

Thank you George,

I had to buy a phone, ughh, I really appreciate the Brax so much more now!

I want the X3; now that I’ve seen it!

Thanks again for your response!!

did Brax2 work eventually ?

you can return any product you bought within 15 days, any contract can be canceled in that period

To try your suggestion, I would need step by step instructions. I’m looking at simbase.com to learn; is there a better place?

As I can understand this is a kind of global carrier. What is the question exactly?

My question is; where’s the best place for a beginner to learn how to find the carrier’s APN settings; and how to go into the SIM’s settings; and how to configure them?

I know nothing, which is probably why the BraX3 is looking so good to me!

I’m willing to try, but there’s only 5 more days to return the new phone so a bump in the right direction would be helpful.

The APN settings depend on the carrier and you just search on the internet or on the carrier’s website, for example search “T-Mobile APN settings”

The settings should be configured at

Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > APN

If you’re are using some older Android and they are not exactly there use the search bar in the settings, just write “APN”

I found the APN; it was set correctly.

The SIM slot wouldn’t open on the BraX so I couldn’t put the SIM back in.

Well George, this X2 is about five years old, so it’s time to get the X3. We shouldn’t spend anymore time on it. Thank you for helping me learn a little bit more!

Someone had the same problem with Brax3, if it’s this mechanism with the pinhole just help it with something else thin to slide out.

Note that Brax3 won’t work easily with Verizon, officially it’s not supported but some users make it work through an advanced process not for newbies.
