IodeOS WiFi connection issues - Eduroam

Hi all,

I cannot connect to the Eduroam network on IodeOS 6.9 (after the WiFi fix)

The network details:

WPA/WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise

EAP method: PEAP
Phase-2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA certificate: Trust on First Use (no certificate)

The username on Eduroam has format (similar to email) that looks like @uni.edu ( e.g [email protected] )

I get the responce “authentication problem”.

I can connect to Eduroam on LunarOS,

I also can connect on iodeOS 6.9 to a local network that uses the same setting (and probably provided by the same router) with only difference that username is just (without @uni.edu at the end)

I guess the bug has something to do with how usernames with @ or dots are treated on IodeOS.

Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to fix this.

Can you share which 6.9 version of iode you are running exactly. A hotfix for 6.9 was introduced that fixes the wifi connectivity issues.

I am now with LunarOS, but It was iode-6.9-20251116 , I updated to 6.9 after the wifi hotfix was introduced.

Thank you for confirming. I will escalate this to the iode dev team.
