So the base principle of why grapheneOS was/is only based on Pixel is for IOMMU lanes.
Thanks to the engineering made on the motherboard of the pixels by google, it was one of the predominant reason why the pixel was choosen for the development of grapheneOS.
It goes the same for qubesOS with the thesis of Anna Rutkowska, where IOMMU lanes are essentials to be able to reset the cut power to the PCI-Lanes responsibles for the USB and other peripherals and resetting their state.
That’s how you know you are protected and that those hardware extensions are properly separated from the rest of the system and so can be turned off or reset at will.
So I wanted to know if the same level of details have been done to brax3 motherboard for the antennas for example. And so if iodeOS is relying on the same principle.
Consequences if they did : When you are on airplane mode, the GSM antennas are really powered off and so you are not sending pings to the towers anymore nor responding to pings or receiving it.
Consequences if they did not: Even on airplane mode you are traceable because your antennas are responding to Pings from the towers.
