Our BraX3 uses an MTK CPU. They have a utility included in Lunar OS that is not in iodé. I can open my dialer and get this:

I’ve seen those settings in the various scripts in the vendor partition, os / public / devices / brax / vendor_brax_brax3 · GitLab, this partition contains all the Mediatek binaries and several scripts that load services and kernel modules during Linux initialisation.

They have an app in play store but every app there is not for this phone!

The apps use Android APIs that should have been implemented by the SoC manufacturer, even Mediatek’s tools should be updated to work with newer SoCs.

I get same thing for brave browser on BraX3 but my Sony running iodé can get brave there!

Use Aurora or download the apks manually.

I am using aurora…Google is blocking me!

That’s ok-I don’t particularly like them either and dont trust apps from their store!:frowning_face_with_open_mouth:

Kill Aurora and run again, if it persists there is a setting where you spoof the phone model, use Pixel for example, else download directly the apks from apkmirror etc

Did you ever find a MTK-Engineering-Mode-App that works on BraX3?
All the ones I tried said they were incompatible with this device - 202604XX BraX3

No. I tried some in Aurora store but got similar results. Lunar OS does enter MTK Engineering mode with a phone number but that OS seems to only install on the 2025 BraX3.
