No Mobile Data after Update to iodéOS 7.2-20260131-brax3

No Mobile (Cellular) Date after Updated from iodéOS 6.9 to 7.2

6.9 worked perfectly for me on ATT, absolutely flawless. Followed all the steps to manually update to 7.1 which was fine, there was mobile data, no issues. Today updated from 7.1 > 7.2 & now no mobile data. Unable to browse the web and unable to send text messages over cellular. Appears to connected to 5G. Next time I will backup all the APN settings…

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction to troubleshoot/resolve this issue.

Thank you,

Sean

Sounds like the APN settings have changed. If you don’t know them or didn’t manually put them in the start with, they should populate from the carrier when it pings the tower

It might be worth making sure you have cellular coverage, and then either turn off the sim, or go into aeroplane mode, or restart, and see if it repopulates when it connects to the tower. Otherwise, the APN settings should be available via a web search for your carrier.

Maybe

I will do that. Thank you!

Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > APN

If the correct APN is selected and its entries are correct you can delete it and add it again , or delete it and reboot the phone, or reset the mobile network settings, search the settings for this.

Georges answer is probably better. As he says, reset the mobile settings and see if they repopulate

RESOLVED!!!

Issue was caused by APN settings being reset, the correct settings were not being pulled from the cell tower/network.

OK, Issue resolved anyone using Consumer Cellular (AT&T Network) Here are the current settings as of Feb. 15, 2026:

Consumer Cellular APN Settings:

https://www.consumercellular.com/help/phones-and-services/common-issues-and-fixes/i-have-a-non-consumer-cellular-phone-how-do-i-set-up-messaging

Addendum:

The phone was pulling the correct settings for a legit AT&T phone, however not the correct settings for a Consumer Cellular SIM.

This is why I told you to search specifically for your provider, you are on the AT&T network but with another provider.
